Regional Health & Safety Advisor

About the role

Citation is recruiting a Regional Health & Safety Advisor as part of its Health & Safety Development Scheme, launched in 2017. This is a full-time, permanent position with hours Monday to Friday, based in the UK. Trainees learn from experienced consultants, build their H&S expertise and prepare for a full-time, field-based consultant role. All training and qualifications are fully funded, and the programme balances study and full-time work.

Key responsibilities

• Learn from seasoned consultants and develop overall H&S expertise.
• Gain hands-on experience in the field, technical and content H&S teams.
• Progress through the NVQ route to earn GradIOSH status.
• After the scheme, join the IPD/CPD programme to work as a H&S Field Consultant and progress toward CMIOSH status.
• Carry out client site visits once the scheme is complete.

Required profile

• A minimum of Tech IOSH status, or proof that you are on the path to achieving it.
• A genuine passion for a career in health and safety.
• A valid driving licence, depending on location.
• Applicants from non-H&S backgrounds are welcome.
