Regional IT Support Engineer – Devon (Remote + Site Visits)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Regional IT Support Engineer to work from home in Devon while providing on‑site visits across the South West. You will be the trusted technical point of contact for a portfolio of business customers, delivering remote assistance and hands‑on troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite IT support to business customers across Devon and the South West.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Administer Microsoft Intune and Entra ID environments.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers and networking equipment.
• Implement Microsoft Defender and follow cyber‑security best practices.
• Assist with installations, upgrades and customer projects.
• Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the support process.
• Produce technical documentation and status updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a 2nd‑line support, IT support engineer or MSP role.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID.
• Solid desktop, application and user troubleshooting abilities.
• Good networking knowledge (switches, wireless, firewalls).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Based in Devon and able to travel within the region.

What we offer

• Salary £30,000 – £35,000 per year (DOE)
