Regional Major Loss Surveyor

About the role

We are expanding the Commercial Major Loss Unit of an international loss adjusting practice and are looking for a Regional Major Loss Surveyor to support our South West team. The role combines technical advisory duties with managing your own portfolio of high‑value building loss cases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and guidance on complex building losses exceeding £100,000.
• Assess, survey and report on major loss claims across the South West region.
• Maintain a personal caseload of quality loss files while supporting colleagues.
• Travel extensively throughout the region to conduct site inspections and client meetings.

Required profile

• MRICS or MCIOB qualification.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a loss adjusting practice handling a full range of insured perils.
• Residence anywhere within the South West of England and willingness to travel as required.
