Regional Operations Manager – Engineering (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Operations Manager – Engineering to lead the delivery of customer projects across the South West England region. The role combines operational oversight, commercial support and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee execution and delivery of customer projects within the region, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality outcomes.
• Manage day‑to‑day regional operations including project planning, resource allocation and capacity management.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Foster collaboration between engineering, project management and support functions.
• Monitor KPIs such as employee and customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with resource centres to share best practices and provide cross‑border support.
• Act as escalation point for key operational challenges.
• Support sales and business development for strategic customers by providing subject‑matter expertise in test, quality and precision assembly.
