Regional Peripatetic Senior Carer

About the role
As a Regional Peripatetic Senior Carer you will provide person‑centred care across three Barchester care homes in the South West, ensuring residents receive high‑quality clinical support while maintaining their dignity and preferences.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a range of clinical tasks, such as taking blood pressure, across three homes.
- Lead, inspire and support care staff, promoting continuous improvement.
- Plan, monitor and review individual resident care plans, including risk assessments.
- Travel between homes with mileage reimbursed; work flexibly across days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Required profile
- Level 2 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Full driving licence.
- Experience providing care for older adults.
- Strong communication, leadership and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to undertake ongoing clinical and statutory training.
- Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.
