Regional Quality Advisor - Childcare

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years leader to join our team as a Regional Quality Advisor for the South West. You will work across a portfolio of nursery settings, helping them achieve Good and Outstanding outcomes through quality audits, coaching and strategic improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality audits and mock inspections in nursery settings.
• Support nurseries in preparation for Ofsted inspections and drive improvement plans.
• Coach and mentor Nursery Managers and Area Managers on compliance, EYFS curriculum and safeguarding.
• Monitor performance using audit findings and ensure actions are completed.
• Deliver training on EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert support during live inspections when required.
• Produce detailed reports highlighting strengths, risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• A Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification.
• Extensive knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
• Proven experience supporting multiple nursery settings in a regional quality or operational role.
• Track record of improving quality standards and inspection outcomes.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.
• Positive, solutions‑focused attitude with the confidence to influence.
