Regional Relief Chef

About the role
Hallmark Care Homes is seeking a qualified Regional Relief Chef to deliver hotel‑standard dining across its residential homes in South East England. This full‑time, field‑based position offers autonomy to design nutritious, seasonal menus while travelling between sites to ensure consistent, high‑quality food service.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and tailor resident‑focused menus using fresh, seasonal produce.
- Prepare and present wholesome dishes that meet dietary requirements.
- Lead, motivate and develop culinary teams at each location.
- Manage food budgets, control costs and minimise waste.
- Conduct regular audits, maintain stock control and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Required profile
- Qualified chef with City & Guilds, NVQ, SVQ or equivalent culinary certification.
- Proven experience in leading and inspiring a kitchen team.
- Strong commitment to resident wellbeing and person‑centred hospitality.
