Regional Resourcing Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Resourcing Coordinator to support rail and operated hire projects for a leading UK plant‑hire business. Based in Wigan, you will ensure plant operators are scheduled efficiently and that customers receive a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate plant operators for customer projects.
• Schedule operators and manage bookings.
• Verify operators hold the correct tickets, medicals and documentation.
• Monitor rail compliance, Sentinel and competency records.
• Liaise with customers, site teams and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate system records and complete daily operator check‑ins.
• Support payroll and invoicing administration.

Required profile

• Rail recruitment experience preferred but not essential.
• Operator recruitment or plant industry knowledge considered.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
