Regional Studio Manager – Architectural Studios

About the role

The Regional Studio Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of two architectural studios located in Bristol and Oxford. This 12‑month fixed‑term position supports studio leadership, ensures efficient processes, and creates a positive employee experience across both sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of both studio locations, ensuring smooth workflow and resource availability.
• Partner with Studio Directors and regional leaders to implement operational improvements and best practices.
• Lead, mentor, and support studio coordinators and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees, promoting an inclusive and engaging workplace.
• Coordinate facilities, equipment, and other resources to meet project delivery goals.
• Maintain consistent office procedures, policies, and administrative systems across the region.
• Monitor operational budgets, supplier contracts, and facilities management as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Studio Manager, Operations Manager, Regional Manager, or similar role within an architectural, design, engineering, or creative practice.
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop people, leading by example.
• Strong organisational and project‑coordination skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities across locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between Bristol and Oxford.
