Regional Support Manager

About the role

Lead care homes through periods of change, strengthen performance and make a lasting difference. This full‑time, field‑based position supports homes across England, Scotland and Wales, providing hands‑on operational leadership during leadership transitions, service improvement programmes and regulatory interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Assume operational accountability for allocated homes, ensuring safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care.
• Assess priorities, develop structured improvement plans and work with Home Managers to implement sustainable solutions.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, safeguard resident wellbeing and support occupancy growth.
• Lead homes through inspections, respond to incidents and safeguarding concerns.
• Coach and mentor Home Managers and leadership teams, embedding systems and processes for long‑term success.
• Provide substantive leadership cover, including registering as Home Manager where required.

Required profile

• Experienced operational leader with a proven track record of guiding care homes through change.
• Strong ability to assess operational issues, develop improvement plans and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with residents, families, professionals and commissioners.
• Capability to manage financial performance and support occupancy growth.
