Regional Team Leader – West Midlands (Pest Control)

About the role

Vergo Pest Management Ltd is seeking an experienced pest control technician to step into a Regional Team Leader position across the West Midlands. This role combines hands‑on service delivery for commercial and residential clients with the chance to develop supervisory and managerial skills.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspections and treatments for pest eradication in commercial and residential properties.
• Record all customer visits using the company smartphone app.
• Oversee training for new starters and existing technicians within the region.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support and front‑line customer engagement.
• Identify and maximise sales opportunities through self‑sold work and lead submission.
• Assist with planning and mobilisation of new large contracts.
• Support the Area Manager in boosting regional productivity.
• Perform any additional ad‑hoc duties required by the business.

Required profile

• Full UK driver’s licence.
• BPCA Accredited Technician in Pest Control.
• RSPH Level 2 Award.
• At least 2 years proven experience in pest control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Methodical, systematic approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in rodent proofing work.

Required skills

• BPCA accreditation.
• RSPH Level 2 certification.
• Competence in pest control techniques, including rodent proofing.
• Proficiency with mobile app for service recording.
