About the role
Coupa is seeking a Regional Vice President to drive customer growth across a defined geography. You will lead a high‑performing sales team, leverage Coupa’s AI‑powered spend management platform, and partner with C‑level executives to deliver measurable margin improvements for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and expand the regional sales organization, ensuring adoption of best‑practice sales processes and the Challenger Sale methodology.
- Maintain accurate weekly sales updates, Salesforce records, and develop targeted plans for accounts, sub‑regions, and verticals.
- Create and present executive‑level proposals that articulate Coupa’s strategic value to C‑suite prospects.
- Collaborate with local Alliance Partners on co‑selling opportunities and support regional content and competitive messaging.
- Drive predictable revenue growth while securing strategic partnerships that multiply customer operating margins.
Required profile
- 5‑10 years of experience selling complex cloud/SaaS solutions, with a proven record of exceeding sales targets.
- 3+ years of sales management experience within the same organization, supported by strong references.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent in a regional context.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills and comfort working across time zones.
