Registered General Nurse - Brushwood Care Home

About the role

Primary Care 24 (PC24) is seeking Registered General Nurses to join its workforce with opportunities within Brushwood Care Home in Liverpool. The post is part time, with two rotating weekend shifts: week 1 Saturday and Sunday 8pm-8am, and week 2 Thursday and Friday 8pm-8am. The advertised pay is £42,742.66 per annum pro rata.

Key responsibilities

• Be a role model and promote the highest standard of person-centred clinical nursing care to residents.
• Act as the nominated nurse in charge and ensure safe staffing levels are met using the agreed patient dependency score tool.
• Work alongside the care team to deliver a high quality of care.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of adults.
• Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents' care through written care plans.
• Work with clinical and care home colleagues and families to maintain the highest standards of care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
• Experience working with elderly patients and frailty in community, social care, nursing or care home settings, or acute hospital and care home settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of writing comprehensive care plans.
