Registered Home Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a charming residential care home for older adults, including residents with dementia, in Ashford. The role focuses on delivering person‑centred, high‑quality care in a warm, homely environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the care home, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Maintain CQC and regulatory compliance through regular audits and quality checks.
• Lead, supervise and develop the multidisciplinary staff team, fostering a supportive culture.
• Ensure care plans are tailored to each resident’s individual needs and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families, social workers and healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Care Home Manager in a residential setting for older people.
• QCF Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or progressing towards it).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for high‑quality care.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CQC standards and care home regulations.
• Experience in staff recruitment, training and performance management.
• Ability to develop person‑centred care plans.
