Registered Home Manager – Nursing Home

About the role

An experienced Registered Home Manager is needed to lead a well‑established, medium‑sized nursing home in East Sussex. The home enjoys a strong reputation, a Good CQC rating and a predominantly private resident base. You will join a supportive provider committed to high‑quality, person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong, visible leadership to ensure exceptional, person‑centred care at all times.
• Oversee day‑to‑day management, maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and resident wellbeing.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive culture.
• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company standards.
• Manage budgets, occupancy and overall commercial performance.
• Drive marketing initiatives to sustain high occupancy and enhance the home’s reputation.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Registered Home Manager within a nursing home.
• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC Pin.
• Successful track record of leading at least one CQC inspection with positive outcomes.
• Strong leadership, HR and people‑management capabilities.
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy and marketing in a care‑home setting.
• Passion for delivering outstanding, person‑centred care and developing high‑performing teams.
