Registered Manager – Children’s Home (Full‑time)

About the role

The Registered Manager will lead a 5‑bed children’s home, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will oversee daily operations, staff performance and compliance with Ofsted standards while fostering positive outcomes for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the home, including staffing, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Maintain full compliance with Ofsted requirements and safeguarding policies.
• Support and develop staff to deliver high‑quality care and therapeutic activities.
• Coordinate referrals and admissions, ensuring smooth transitions for new residents.
• Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists and other clinical professionals to provide holistic care.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a children’s residential setting.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering outcomes for young people with complex needs.
