Registered Manager – Children’s Homes

About the role

The Registered Manager leads a 5‑bed children’s home, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will oversee daily operations, staff performance and compliance with Ofsted standards, while fostering positive outcomes for each resident.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day home operations and maintain high standards of care.
• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal policies.
• Support and develop staff to deliver holistic, person‑centred services.
• Oversee new referrals, admissions and discharge processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists and occupational therapists.
• Maintain accurate records, health & safety checks, and quality assurance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a children’s home or similar residential setting.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality care for young people with complex needs.

• Base salary between £51,331 and £63,553 per annum.
