Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)

About the role

Lead the opening and operation of Meadow House, a new 5‑bed, Ofsted‑regulated children’s residential home in Hither Green, supporting young people aged 11‑17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Key responsibilities

• Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager and maintain full regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing residential care team.
• Create a child‑centred culture focused on outstanding outcomes and safeguarding.
• Manage budgets, resources and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with professionals, families and partner agencies to ensure positive outcomes.
• Oversee performance management, supervision and professional development for staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting.
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and Ofsted requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality care for children with EBD.

• Salary up to £70,000 per annum.
• £1,000 bonus on successful Ofsted registration and £5,000 bonus on full occupancy.
