Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Registered Manager to lead one of our children’s residential homes in South Ribble, Preston. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment for young people with emotional, behavioural and complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the home meets Ofsted standards and complies with all safeguarding regulations.
• Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including staffing, budgets and performance management.
• Promote a culture of reflection, continuous improvement and positive outcomes for residents.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting in line with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in residential children’s care.
• Qualified or working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).
• Strong organisational, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding, quality assurance and ongoing service improvement.
