Registered Manager – Homecare Service

About the role

Excelcare Homecare is seeking a compassionate and resilient Registered Manager to lead its established homecare service in Tower Hamlets. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee a service delivering around 6,500 care hours each week, ensuring person‑centred, high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the CQC Registered Manager, maintaining full regulatory compliance.
• Lead governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and sustain relationships with service users, families, local authorities, hospitals, commissioning teams, district nurses, therapists and GPs.
• Oversee safeguarding, incident management, complaints, investigations and risk management.
• Record, investigate and resolve all feedback in line with company policy.
• Monitor performance through KPIs, identify risks and implement improvements.
• Maintain audit readiness, care quality standards and inspection preparedness.
• Provide leadership, coaching and strategic direction to the wider management team.
• Prepare governance, quality and performance reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing domiciliary care services at Registered Manager level.
• Thorough understanding of CQC regulations, governance and quality assurance.
• Proven ability to lead a large, growing service and drive continuous improvement.

• Competitive salary up to £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Office‑based role with regular Monday‑Friday hours (8:30 am – 5:00 pm).
