Registered Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Registered Manager to lead a team of 60 dedicated staff at our nursing home. This senior position offers the chance to shape high‑quality, person‑centred care for residents while driving continuous improvement across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day management of the nursing home, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care.
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and all relevant legislation.
• Oversee clinical governance, audits, risk management and quality assurance processes.
• Manage recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance of staff.
• Ensure safe medication management and effective clinical practices throughout the home.
• Develop positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
• Monitor occupancy, quality outcomes and service performance to support the home’s success.
• Investigate incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns, implementing corrective actions.
• Promote an inclusive, supportive culture for residents and colleagues.
• Participate in on‑call rota and provide leadership during emergencies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with a valid NMC registration.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a Registered Manager role within a nursing home.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and safeguarding.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
