Registered Manager – Learning Disability Respite Service

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and committed Registered Manager to lead the CQC‑registered Widmore Road Learning Disability respite service in Bromley. You will shape the service direction, drive a culture of excellence and empower your team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding care that promotes independence, dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Oversee CQC registration and ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, clear direction and ongoing support to the staff team.
• Manage safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints while driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager (highly desirable).
• Experience working within a respite service, preferably in the Learning Disability sector.
• Strong understanding of adult social care and CQC regulatory frameworks.
• Proven leadership and management ability.
• Excellent communication, organisational and decision‑making skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• At least 12 months remaining on your Right to work in the UK.
