Registered Manager – Residential Care Home

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a charming residential care home for older adults, including residents with dementia, in Ashford. You will be responsible for creating a warm, homely environment while ensuring the highest standards of care.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the home.
• Deliver person‑centred care tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Maintain CQC and regulatory compliance through regular audits and quality checks.
• Manage, supervise and develop the care and support staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families, social workers and healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Care Home Manager in a residential setting for older people.
• QCF Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or progressing towards it).
• Compassionate, approachable leadership style with a genuine passion for high‑quality care.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
• Leadership and team development capabilities.
• Ability to implement person‑centred care plans.
