Registered Manager – Supported Living

About the role

You will lead a team delivering safe, caring and responsive support to residents in a supported‑living setting. The role ensures the highest standards of care, full compliance with CQC regulations and achievement of operational and quality KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Promote resident choice, dignity and individuality by ensuring they understand care and treatment options.
• Review and adapt care plans to meet current physical and mental health needs, liaising with residents, staff, health professionals and social workers.
• Conduct regular audits of service quality and take swift corrective action when concerns arise.
• Maintain effective risk assessments to protect residents and ensure home safety.
• Induct, train, motivate, supervise and support staff, handling disciplinary actions when required.
• Manage staffing levels and develop contingency plans for unexpected absences.
• Investigate safeguarding, abuse or service‑delivery complaints and ensure duty of candour notifications are completed.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Management qualification at QCF Level 4 or willingness to work towards it.
• QCF Level 4 or higher in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Previous registration in a residential service (preferable).
• Experience within the Learning Disability sector.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of the care sector, supported‑living operations and regulatory framework.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Experience working with vulnerable client groups.
• Availability for a 42‑hour work week.
