Registered Mental Health Nurse

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the multidisciplinary team at Battersea Bridge House Hospital. The role involves providing acute inpatient care to adults experiencing mental health crises, supporting their recovery and safe discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and support residents with complex mental health conditions.
• Develop, implement and review individualized care plans.
• Administer psychiatric medications, monitor effects and document outcomes.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and emotional support.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families and community services.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promote a safe, supportive environment for residents and staff.

Required profile

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Compassionate, patient‑centred approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
