Registered Nurse Assessor – Flexible Working

About the role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor you will apply your clinical expertise to evaluate how disabilities or health conditions impact daily living. You will work with complex physical and mental health cases, including chronic pain, helping customers move forward with tailored support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals’ functional abilities.
• Analyse medical and mental health information to produce detailed reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine appropriate interventions.
• Provide clear recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration (RN, NP or RMN).
• Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience in adult or mental health nursing, within or outside the NHS.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer software for report writing.
