Registered Nurse – Bank (Full‑time)

About the role

Prime Life is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join the dedicated team at Birch Green, a purpose‑built care home in Skelmersdale. You will provide dignified, person‑centred care for 74 residents living with a range of physical, age‑related and mental health conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately complete nursing notes and maintain up‑to‑date clinical documentation.
• Assist with ordering, storage and safe administration of all medication.
• Ensure care plans and records are evaluated, current and accurate.
• Update and follow tasks on the clinical calendar.
• Visit each resident daily to assess needs and deliver appropriate care.
• Continuously seek improvements to the quality of care provided.
• Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct at all times.
• Lead nursing handovers and collaborate with care staff.
• Participate in daily meetings and share relevant information.
• Perform any other reasonable duties requested by the manager.

Required profile

• Genuine caring nature with a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Valid NMC registration (Nursing Pin) is essential.
• Post‑qualification experience in a clinical setting.
• Patient, understanding and respectful of each resident’s abilities.
