Registered Nurse - Bank (Night Shift)

About the role

Join Avery Healthcare Group as a Bank Registered Nurse on night shifts at Moorlands Lodge Care Home. You will provide high‑quality, compassionate care to elderly residents while supporting the care team during overnight hours.

Key responsibilities

• Act as person in charge, covering the manager when required.
• Administer medication, perform dressings, catheterisation and tube feeding.
• Manage chronic medical conditions and maintain accurate care records.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to families and GPs.
• Supervise and deploy care staff to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans.

Required profile

• First Level nursing qualification with current NMC registration.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in residential care.
• Post‑basic studies or additional qualifications in relevant areas.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to instruct care activities.
• Knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
