Registered Nurse Functional Assessor (PIP)

About the role

Do good. Be great as a nurse. As a Nurse Functional Assessor at Maximus you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders, helping customers move forward with confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Assess how disabilities or health conditions impact daily living.
• Manage complex cases that include both physical and mental health issues.
• Provide detailed written reports using computer software.
• Participate in a tailored training programme and receive ongoing mentorship.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• At least 1 year of post‑registration adult or mental health nursing experience (NHS or other).
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to produce detailed reports.

• Salary up to £49,000 per year (range £38,000‑£49,000).
