Registered Nurse – Nights

About the role

Join the award‑winning team at Clayton Manor Care Home as a night‑shift Registered Nurse. You will act as the person in charge, stepping in for the manager when required, and ensure high standards of care for residents throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to families and GPs, keeping them informed and involved in care decisions.
• Supervise and deploy care staff during the night shift, ensuring all duties are completed and residents receive required care.
• Conduct accurate assessments and care planning to maintain high standards of resident care.

Required profile

• First Level nursing qualification and current NMC registration.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience with up‑to‑date knowledge of care.
• Relevant post‑basic studies or qualifications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
