Registered Nurse RGN - Bank - Care Home

About the role

This is a casual, part‑time bank position offering flexible working within a Barchester care home. As a Registered Nurse (RGN) you will look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents, creating a safe and supportive environment while using professional judgement for critical clinical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored care plans for each resident.
• Carry out accurate medication administration and ensure safe handling of medicines.
• Perform detailed risk assessments and maintain up‑to‑date clinical records.
• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care to residents with diverse physical and mental health needs.
• Support the care home team by covering shifts for annual or sick leave as required.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Strong knowledge of current clinical practices and regulatory frameworks (DoLs/MCA, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
• Experience in producing comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
• Dedicated, compassionate and committed to a person‑centred approach.
