Registered Nurse (RGN) - Bank - Care Home

About the role

This is a casual, part‑time bank position within a Barchester care home. You will provide safe, person‑centred nursing care to residents with a range of physical and mental health needs, while enjoying flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents’ health, delivering appropriate clinical interventions.
• Develop and review individualized care plans and detailed risk assessments.
• Administer medication safely in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Make critical clinical decisions using professional judgement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices and regulatory frameworks (DoLs/MCA, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
• Experience in producing comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
• Dedicated, compassionate and person‑centred approach to nursing.
