Registered Nurse (RGN) – Bank Position – Care Home

About the role

This is a casual, part‑time bank position within a Barchester care home in Marple. You will provide safe, person‑centred nursing care to residents with a range of physical and mental health needs, while supporting the wider care team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver individualized nursing care for each resident.
• Administer medication safely and maintain accurate medication records.
• Produce detailed care plans and risk assessments in line with current clinical guidelines.
• Make critical clinical decisions and act in accordance with regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure a supportive and safe environment.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices and regulatory standards.
• Experience in developing care plans and conducting risk assessments.
• Compassionate, person‑centred approach with the ability to work autonomously.
