Registered Nurse (RGN) – Bank Position in Care Home

About the role

This casual, part‑time Bank position supports residents in a Barchester care home in Launceston. You will deliver safe, person‑centred nursing care, addressing physical, psychological and social needs while exercising professional judgement on clinical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and meet the holistic needs of residents.
• Develop and review individualised care plans and risk assessments.
• Administer medication safely and in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for residents with diverse health conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Current registration with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical best practice.
• Experience creating detailed care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Compassionate, person‑centred approach to nursing.
