Registered Nurse (RGN) – Bank Position in Care Home

About the role

This is a casual, part‑time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you will look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents to deliver the quality care they deserve. You will enjoy autonomy to deliver excellence and provide cover for annual or sick leave as required.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe and supportive environment for residents with diverse physical and mental needs.
• Make critical clinical decisions using professional judgement.
• Develop tailored care plans for each resident.
• Administer medicines safely and ensure compliance with protocols.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices.
• Experience producing detailed care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
