Registered Nurse RGN – Care Home

About the role

As a Registered Nurse (RGN) in a Barchester care home, you will provide comprehensive physical, psychological and social care to residents. You will work in a supportive environment, using your clinical judgement to make critical decisions and ensure high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tailored care plans for each resident.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Support residents with a range of physical and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person‑centred care.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Strong knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices.
• Experience creating comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Compassionate, dedicated and able to work independently.
