Registered Nurse (RN) – Multiple Positions

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join Ivy Meadows in Sackville, Nova Scotia. The positions are available on a full‑time, part‑time or casual basis, offering the opportunity to provide person‑centered care in a supportive long‑term care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, person‑centered nursing care and conduct comprehensive client assessments.
• Coordinate and update care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
• Document clinical information accurately and timely, including vital signs and treatment modifications.
• Address mental health and social concerns, advocate for clients, and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Respond to complaints, incidents and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are documented.
• Maintain a safe environment for residents and staff, adhering to proper body mechanics and infection‑control practices.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed in the Province of Nova Scotia.
• Minimum six months of relevant experience, preferably in long‑term care.
• Strong clinical, communication and organizational abilities.
• Consistent attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of person‑centered care models.

Required skills

• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Non‑Violence Crisis Intervention (NVCI) – considered an asset.
