Registered Nurse – Specialist Dementia & Complex Care

About the role

Limewood Care Home in Stafford is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join its specialist dementia, nursing and respite care team. You will work in a purpose‑built environment caring for 59 residents with complex physical and mental health needs, delivering person‑centred, clinically led care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess residents’ health needs and develop, review and update individual care plans.
• Administer medication, monitor vital signs and respond to changes in physical or mental health.
• Lead day‑shift teams, providing guidance, support and clinical decision‑making.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary professionals and external agencies to promote wellbeing and independence.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to make informed decisions.
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a care team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in complex or mental health care is desirable but not essential.
