Registered Nurse/Paramedic - Loddon Valley - FT/PT

About the role

Mountain Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses and Paramedics to join its forensic custody team in Loddon Valley. You will work alongside police and criminal‑justice partners to assess, treat and support detainees, ensuring their health and safety while influencing key decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality clinical care to people detained in police custody.
• Conduct clinical and capacity assessments, including fitness for detention.
• Manage acute presentations, respond to emergencies and provide advice to custody teams.
• Undertake forensic duties such as injury assessment and evidential sample collection.
• Maintain accurate clinical and legal records and liaise with NHS and partner agencies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse or Paramedic with at least 3 years post‑registration experience in an acute or urgent‑care setting.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Strong clinical judgement, compassion and professionalism.
