Registered Paediatric Nurse – School Setting

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and organised Registered Paediatric Nurse to join our dedicated school nursing team. You will provide professional nursing care to children and young people aged 3‑19 with neurological motor impairments, sensory needs and autism spectrum conditions in a specialist residential and educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day nursing care, including health assessments, medication administration and wound management.
• Support students during school activities, outings and therapeutic sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and external health professionals to develop and implement individual health plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide emergency care and act as first responder when needed.

Required profile

• Registered Paediatric Nurse (NMC‑registered) with a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to the school’s ethos of holistic development and inclusive education.
