Registered Pharmacist – Outpatient Pharmacy

About the role

UHS Pharmacy Limited (UPL) is seeking a motivated, patient‑focused Registered Pharmacist to join its vibrant outpatient pharmacy team within the NHS. You will deliver high‑quality dispensing and clinical pharmacy services to outpatients, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Validate, clinically screen, dispense and accuracy‑check outpatient prescriptions.
• Provide clinical advice to doctors, nurses and other hospital staff.
• Support the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
• Act as trainer, mentor and line manager for junior team members.
• Uphold regulatory and professional standards, acting as Responsible Pharmacist when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects under the guidance of senior pharmacy leadership.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with GPhC registration.
• Strong patient‑centred focus and ability to work in a multidisciplinary NHS environment.
• Experience in outpatient dispensing and clinical pharmacy services.
• Capability to supervise, mentor and manage junior staff.
