Registered Service Manager – Residential Care (Leicestershire)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Service Manager to lead our residential specialist rehabilitation (Acquired Brain Injury) service in Leicestershire. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care for our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the residential service, including staffing, budgets and compliance.
• Develop and implement person‑centred support plans and conduct care needs assessments.
• Recruit, induct and supervise staff, delivering regular appraisals and training.
• Oversee medication competencies, conduct medication audits and ensure safe prescribing practices.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings, produce quarterly audits and reports, and maintain accurate P&L records.
• Ensure all regulatory, legislative, contractual and internal policy requirements are met.

Required profile

• Registered Service Manager (CQC‑registered) with proven experience in residential or specialist rehabilitation care.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, work with local authorities, healthcare professionals and families.
• Strong commitment to person‑centred values and regulatory excellence.
