Registered Veterinary Nurse – Full‑time (Rottingdean)

About the role

Join a respected independent veterinary practice in Rottingdean as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. You will deliver compassionate nursing care, support clinical procedures and help keep the practice running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nurse‑led consultations and provide advice to pet owners.
• Assist veterinary surgeons during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Provide high‑standard inpatient nursing, including patient admissions and discharges.
• Process and run laboratory samples.
• Maintain and organise your designated clinical workspace.
• Supervise work‑experience students and offer clinical coaching to Student Veterinary Nurses when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, Veterinary Nurse, RVN, or similar role.
• Current registration with the RCVS.
• Experience in a veterinary clinical setting, confident in both medical and surgical nursing duties.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to prioritise workload efficiently.
