Registered Veterinary Nurse – New Hospital Launch

About the role

We are preparing to launch a brand‑new veterinary hospital in Cwmbran, expected to open in early 2027. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse you will join a nurse‑led team delivering continuous, affordable care to the Torfaen community and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality patient care and support the veterinary team in a 24/7 hospital environment.
• Utilise your nursing skills to assess, treat and monitor a diverse caseload of animals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of emergency and out‑of‑hours services.

Required profile

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered).
• Commitment to a 40‑hour, four‑day work week with a 2:9 weekend rota (TOIL).
• Passion for delivering affordable, high‑standard veterinary care.
