Regulatory Solicitor (1-6 years PQE)

About the role

Join a leading Scottish law firm as a Regulatory Solicitor, working on a varied and intellectually stimulating caseload for commercial and public sector clients. You will advise on high‑profile regulatory, compliance and investigations matters and develop your advocacy and business development skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on regulatory and compliance issues, corporate crime, financial crime, anti‑bribery, environmental and health & safety matters.
• Conduct investigations, draft submissions and prepare cases for court, tribunal and judicial review proceedings.
• Liaise with regulators and public bodies, and support public inquiries.
• Manage your own caseload and build strong client relationships.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• 1‑6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Genuine interest in regulatory, compliance and investigations work.
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication abilities.
• Experience managing a caseload and developing client relationships.
• Knowledge of Sheriff Court or Court of Session procedures is advantageous.
• Interest in advocacy is a plus, though not essential.
