Relationship Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Our client, a leading independent provider of financial services to businesses, is seeking a Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of Invoice Finance facilities across the South East of England. You will deliver high‑level customer service while ensuring profitable, commercially sound relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop strong relationships with a mixed portfolio of clients to maximise retention and manage contract renewals.
• Support Relationship Executives in maximising funding availability.
• Develop and maintain risk and recoveries management through regular client reviews, visits and audits.
• Prepare and contribute to monthly portfolio review meetings and risk strategy discussions.
• Make funding decisions, set invoice funding, concentration and credit limits within authorised levels, and communicate decisions to clients.
• Lead the onboarding process for prospective clients, coordinating with sales and underwriting teams.
• Support new business growth through efficient communication, deal structuring and underwriting.
• Handle all customer matters fairly and consistently in line with company values.

Required profile

• Operational experience in Invoice Finance or broader commercial lending.
