Relationship Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading independent provider of financial services to businesses, is seeking a Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of Invoice Finance facilities across the South East of England. You will deliver high‑level customer service while ensuring profitable, commercially sound relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop strong relationships with a mixed portfolio of clients to maximise retention and maintain contract renewals.
• Support Relationship Executives in maximising funding availability.
• Develop and maintain risk and recoveries management, including regular client reviews, visits and audits.
• Prepare and contribute to monthly portfolio review meetings and risk strategy discussions.
• Make funding decisions, oversee invoice funding, concentration and credit limits within authority levels, and communicate decisions to clients.
• Support the onboarding process for prospective clients, liaising with sales and the client.
• Assist new business growth through efficient communication with the sales team, deal structuring and underwriting.
• Handle all customer matters fairly and consistently in line with cultural values.

Required profile

• Operational experience in Invoice Finance or broader Commercial Lending.
• Ambitious, career‑oriented commercial financial professional.
• Strong analytical and risk‑management capabilities.
