Relationship Manager - Specialist Lending (Bridging & Development Finance)

About the role

A specialist finance broker operating across bridging and development finance is recruiting a Relationship Manager, with ALF Recruit acting as exclusive recruiter. The broker works with a network of high-profile individuals and high-net-worth clients, and the role suits someone already in bridging or development finance or in private, business or commercial banking with an existing client portfolio, moving into a specialist, higher-value part of the market.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, private clients and property professionals
• Introduce new customers with bridging and development finance requirements
• Manage and grow an existing client base, focusing on retention and repeat business
• Structure finance solutions across bridging, refurbishment and development lending
• Work closely with lenders, underwriters and packagers to progress deals from enquiry to completion
• Represent the business at industry events and client meetings

Required profile

• Background in relationship management or business development in bridging/development finance, or in private, business or commercial banking with an existing lending client portfolio
• Established network of high-net-worth individuals, private clients or property professionals
• Strong relationship-building skills and confidence dealing with high-profile clients
• Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven working style

What we offer

• Salary of £70,000 basic, depending on experience
