Relief Support Worker – Flexible Shifts in Blackpool

About the role

Creative Support Ltd is seeking warm, reliable and proactive Relief Support Workers to join its Blackpool team. In this flexible role you will help individuals with learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy live fulfilling lives, whether that means supporting employment, volunteering, shopping, social activities or simply enjoying time at home.

Key responsibilities

• Assist service users with daily activities, personal care and community engagement.
• Support users in finding and maintaining employment or volunteering opportunities.
• Accompany users to appointments, shopping trips and social events.
• Promote independence while providing necessary assistance.
• Build trusting relationships with users and their families.

Required profile

• Warm, reliable and proactive attitude with a good sense of humour.
• Ability to work flexibly across full‑time, part‑time or sleep‑in shifts.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and reside in the country.
• Commitment to inclusive, anti‑racist values.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support individuals with learning disabilities, autism or epilepsy.
• Team‑oriented and able to work independently when required.
