About the role
We are seeking a passionate Religious Studies Teacher to join the Humanities team at an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Harrow. You will inspire a diverse student body, fostering independent thinking, inclusion and academic excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess the Religious Studies curriculum for secondary pupils.
- Contribute to the wider Humanities department, supporting other subjects where needed.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive classroom environment and manage occasional behaviour issues.
- Engage with parents and colleagues to support student progress.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Studies or Religious Education.
- Committed to high standards and continuous improvement.
- Enthusiastic about teaching a culturally diverse cohort.
- Willingness to teach additional humanities subjects is a plus.
